I have just received this in a hand written letter which was such
a surprise!! so so lovely <3


Life is not fair
But it is still good
Your job will not take care of you when you are sick
Your friends and family will stay in touch
You do not have to win every argument
Agree to disagree
Make peace with your past
so it wont screw up your present
Do not compare life to others
You have no idea what their life journey is all about
Over prepare, then go with the flow
Be eccentric now
Do not wait to wear purple in old age
Frame every so called disaster with these words
"In a few years will this even matter"
What other people think of you is none of your business
Your children only get one childhood
They never forget
If we threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone elses
we would grab ours back
Envy is a waste of time
You already have all you need
No matter how you feel, get up, get dressed, show up
Life is not tied with a bow
But it is still a GIFT

<3 I only totally disagree with one bit and that is the family will stay in touch.

Liz I wore Deep Purple when I was 14 and will wear it again when ever I feel like it.

I am going to have to copy this and keep it.
The one bit I really love is what people think of you is not your business.
