Ours hasn't been on since the middle of May. It doesn't have a thermostat, although the individual radiators do. The boiler has a timer, but most of the time I over-ride it and operate the thing manually. |

Mine is on constant, but only 3 downstairs radiators are ever on - I turn the thermostat up and down, depending on whether I'm cold, or the washing needs drying!! |

We are like DetEcTive - we never turn ours off but just rely on the thermostat working. It is only this last week that our radiators have not come on. Up until then we needed the heating to warm up the place as it has been so cold but this last week we have had some lovely weather and have been able to have the back door open all day for the last few days (in north east England). |

It's been bl**dy cold down South - so much rain there's been flooding - and judging from the smell outside Te*co's today a bit of the worst sort of 'drainage' trouble :-( |

I had a warm air (ducted) heating system years ago. It was inefficient, I couldn't get parts for it when necessary. It was a cold house that one. But now, after having had a Baxi back boiler unit in the previous house I have a combi boiler in this one. :-) |

My combi boiler is switched on and off by a wireless thermostat in the corridor outside one of the bedrooms. The boiler also comes on when you open a hot tap. |

our house is incredibly warm in winter when the blown air central heating is on. It is a common type of heating over heating, run by a natural gas fired furnace in the basement. |

It's been very cold here. Well, cold for us! Living in a sub-tropical place, we're used to being warm. |
