It was on my threads and now it's gone. Guinevere must have pulled it. Such a shame as it was about a very important health issue. :-(

Such a shame that it has disappeared :-( I thought it was a great thread
much needed especially for those who posted on it and those who
are going through similar illness <3

I thought it was a great thread, with a lot of information that people may not know, and it was also very positive.

It was strange how it went so quickly, I suppose Guinevere must have removed it herself.

I deleted it, Sylvia, it was always my intention to only leave it for a few days and, frankly, the atmosphere today has made me regret adding it at all. It had slipped over the page so I deleted it earlier than planned.

I don't normally add personal stuff on here but in the case of breast cancer I made a rare exception.

I hope it was of some use to those who saw it and urge everyone to go if called for a mammogram.

Sorry.

Guinevere ............

I'm sorry you deleted it so quickly.

I think it was helpful to those who read it ........ and hopefully it will have persuaded someone to get a mammogram, and maybe, you never know, even persuaded someone else that breast cancer IS survivable!!

It's now 21 years since my first bout with it, and I'm going strong!

I am glad you posted it and understand why it was deleted.

If only a few people read it and took note it will have been worth sharing such a personal fight.

Everyone on FB knows about my errr... problem (no not the tremor, the other one).

Hopefully it would have helped some dithering about whether to continue being checked.

It was useful. One thing that came out was that women can request a scan after they reach the 'normal' age.
