Sylvia, I do use auto-renew so I am lucky and only get treated as a newbie every 3 years, when I have a new card!!

That is NOT unusual ......... they do it every time with me.

I've guessed it is because I do not do Auto Renew ............... but they tell me what a good deal I am getting as loyalty bonus or whatever they decide to call it "this year", and then tell me how to build my tree and use the site :-D

and if I check into the options discover they want £ 2 more than last time and a 12 month deal is 50p per month more than a 6 month deal. They should put working out GR discounts and fees into the new 11+ exam ...

last time I had an option to use PayPal that has now disappeared.

I don't have auto-renew on, I prefer to have it off.

But they didn't send me any advance notification this year ..........

.......... I went into RENEW and, like Andysmum, followed the instructions, and changed my card details when it prompted me.

Sorry, Margaret, but they took mine the first time two weeks before it was due and the second time just one day early, because that's when I gave them my new card details.

I have never been asked for my new details. I have gone into RENEW and followed the instructions.

Also look along the top line ........ does it not say RENEW in dark green?

If it does, then you can go in there and change your card details.

I am going to do what Margaret said next time.

If you do follow GR's instuctions, be aware that it is like starting again. They will take the right amount, but they will take it as soon as you fill in the card details, so don't do it until the last minute before it is due.

Whenever I'm due to renew and my credit card details need to be updated I always get an email from GR asking for the new details.

Hi Anne

If you click on Help at the top of the page, on the right of Account and before your name, it will show you a list of Frequently Asked Questions on the left-hand side.
Click on Subscriptions and Payments and there is a question How do I change the card I pay with? Click on that and it will tell you what to do.

Along the top of genes banner it says account in black. Click on that. Down the side panel the option is there to update cards.

need some help i am due to renew my genes membership and it does it automaticallly however, i need to change the details of the credit card I cannot find my details anywhere to change any help would be appreciated thankyou
