Waiting for the knee op that was cancelled at the last hour I had put my life on hold expecting to be out of action for six weeks

Despite numerous phone calls I have got no where trying to find what is going on

Sooo I can’t put my life on hold anymore so have been to the chiropractor and today had my annual eye test

Left eye has changed quite a lot.i have stigmatisation in both eyes that I wasn’t aware of. I have had cataracts in both eyes that have been sorted

Soooo new glasses, varifocals, and £300 later I went home

What with that and hearing aids a few months ago it’s bloody expensive getting older lol

:-(

The first pair of glasses I had, I stepped out of the shop and fell off the kerb.

The brain never could cope well with the feet moving!

Would have been cheaper for you, Shirley, if you'd had the knee op. :-D

My first sight test as a youth was at Hamlin's Ophthalmic Emporium Newcastle.

The Optician said to my Father he's got one ear nearer his face than the other.

My Father replied "there's nothing wrong with him" :-D <3
