Neither do I, Sylvia.

Too much conflict as too many fight for supremacy. :-(

Also, far too many seniors waging wars for others to fight on their behalf. You couldn't make it up, as they say!

Now that the 75th Anniversary of the release of the prisoners from Auschwitz is over, will all the brave words of "never again" be forgotten?

Put back in the drawer to be pulled out months or years from now?

Hatred and the possibility of it being taken to extremes is found around the world today, and nothing seems to be done to stop it

January 29th was also the 3rd anniversary of a mass shooting at a mosque in Quebec City, 6 men killed and many hurt. The young male perpetrator is on trial, his only reason being a hatred of all Islamic people.

Synagogues are guarded by private security and also often local police ........... one in this city was guarded by local police on January 29 when they were holding a multi-faith meeting to honour those killed in Quebec City.

Many people were killed in shootings at 2 mosques in New Zealand last year, and the shooter even live-streamed his actions

Jewish synagogues and cemeteries are being desecrated

The Rohinga expulsions from Myanmar is being characterised as genocide

800,000 Tutsi, a minority group, were killed by the Hutu majority over a period of about 100 days in 1994 ................... genocide. Canadians in particular know about this because a Canadian general was in charge of UN forces in Rwanda supposedly to keep the peace, and the were forbidden by UN headquarters from taking any action to protect the Tutsi. They just had to watch it all happen. Ironically, Rwanda is now considered one of the safest places to visit in Africa.

The list goes on and on

I don't know what the answer is
