I don't know the date of the meet, but just searched on here and found a thread from Jack, written April 2006 saying it was a year since her Mum died.

I remember meeting her at a London meet

Think it was about 2006/7

Lots of old members who would go to meets like Aunty Jean and others who have either left the site or sadly since passed away

Blow me I,m trying to remember the lovely Irish lady who always wore silk scarves and was a very elegant lady and had a shopping trolley

Annoying when your brain just won’t bring a name up

Jacky,
I'm glad you found your answer.
How the years have flown!

Shirley,

I think you might mean B C......otherwise ButtercupFields.
I don't know her non board name.

Gwyn

That’s her

I could visualise her but just couldn’t remember her name

It’s very frustrating when the name is there but just out of reach

As you say Buttercup fields that we called BC

Thanks

I often think of Mommylonglegs who I think was responsible for the Gaynor Bear travelling round the country. It's because I still have my little pink bear sitting on the shelf. The travelling bear came to stay with me for the weekend of our local Lord Mayor's Parade in Norwich and was photographed with the Mayor! It was 9th July ( I think it was my son's birthday weekend so would have been 2005?)

Anyone know how Mommylonglegs (Jenny) is doing?
