Petting Zoo

A local Petting Zoo which had been closed for some time recently re-opened.

I went there with my nephew and one of his young children.

I don't know why we bothered as it cost a fortune to get in and only had one animal to pet, and that was a dog.

I thought to myself, this is a Shih Tzu.

I suppose that if I do want to have a serious discussion I should start my threads with the heading 'No duff" :-D :-D

Any one with military experience will know what that means, and it isn't anything rude or humorous :-D

All this cunning 'internal info'!

'No duff' meant no pudding (thank you) when I were a lad :-D

In the Military 'No Duff' is used to show that a radio message is real. It is used during exercises to distinguish a genuine situation rather than exercise play.

My Unit was involved with a big exercise in Thetford many years ago. I was in the Medics and as well as taking part in the Exercise itself, we were there to provide real medical cover for the troops involved.

We frequently got 'no duff' messages to show that our assistance was required at a genuine medical emergency and not as part of the exercise scenario :-0
