I don't know anything about these things but it is great that it is all removed and a 'just in case' scenario seems a good idea.

The oncologist should be able explain it all.

So pleased for you Shirley that all's well and glad they are offering radiotherapy just to make sure. Hope you don't have to wait too long for the next appointment. What a relief for you and your family.

Take care <3

It sounds like you are being carefully monitored and offered good follow-up treatment.

I hope all goes well and that you don't have to wait too long for your next appointment.

I would echo your warning that any unusual symptoms or marks on the skin should be checked... We just don't know what they might mean, onless they're investigated.

Thank goodness you acted promptly.

So pleased that the tumour was all removed and that you will be offered radiotherapy if needed.

:-)

Haven’t pulled up the old thread as it’s pages long

So got the histology results

All organs outside the womb were clear including the membrane that goes between the area and the stomach

It was all contained in the womb but some dead cells were found in the next layer and another tumour was forming in the womb

The outer wall was clear so it’s unlikely any cells have migrated but just to be sure ,once it’s all healed, they recommend a course of radiotherapy that would zap anything

Will be getting a consultation appt soon with an oncologist to discuss but I will have it
anyway

Just goes to show though you just don’t know what’s going on inside you :-(

The results weren’t what I expected but it’s all out so that’s a bonus :-)
