On my keyboard on my Android phone, I have noticed today above the top row of letters.. ie QWERTYUIOP, the numbers 1-9 and then a 0 have appeared??

I still have the option by pressing?123 at the bottom left to switch to a numerical keyboard but don't know why these numbers have appeared. I'm finding it off putting when typing messages. I haven't changed anything in my settings and can't seem to find a way of getting rid of these tiny numbers.

Any techies please on the boards with any suggestions? I tried looking on U-tube but the settings they suggested, I couldn't see them on my phone.

I'm sure there must be an easy solution but I can't seem to find it.

Not sure why you want to get rid of them Florence. I prefer to use these numbers.

Saves having to press on the numbers tab. :-D

Yes but Von if I say wanted to use no 1 without switching, I would press the Q key then but it comes up with Q not 1!

It's just they were never there before so how are they now there???

I just dont grasp them at all!

You have to hold down the key instead of just tapping it. It works because I tried it :-D :-D
I’ve been using the numbers above the letters on my IPad for a while now.

This I discovered by accident one day as I had swiped down on the number.

All sorted.

I went through settings and clicked on language, then preferences and to my surprise there was a toggle for the number row which was on!! So I switched it to off and the key board is back to normal.

On mine, above the top row of letters is the line of numbers but my numbers had somehow been put in miniature on the same keys?
