	Evening Last time we took part in a pub quiz was on holiday. The resident local team was in one corner, and the rest on small tables around the pub. HOWEVER, we found out how the local team had an unbeaten run of winning. They cheated. One bright spark in the corner was using Google on his phone to get the answers. We didnt much care about not winning, but we do not like cheats. I too was watching tv early. There was a film on Talking Pictures entitled Song of London, which may be of interest to Ann It was obviously a Tourist Board film. Hosted by Tommy Trinder, in a snazzy suit with his trousers just under his armpits It also had Marian Ryan (Mum of twins Paul and Barry) and Shirley Abicare with her zither. A real curio. They visited a pub, which was a dead ringer for the pub scene in Get Carter. The little kids had Mum knitted jumpers, and all the post women wore hats. But the thing that got me was how rotten the buildings were, they were all black. This was in 1963. It is half an hour long, but you can fast forward the boring bits. Worth a watch.

	Afternoon everyone A cloudless blue sky, when I got up. Still sunny and bright, but more cloudy with a chilly wind. Good for a brisk walk though. Out to a quiz with daughters last night - not our best performance, but we all enjoyed it

	Afternoon everyone After a sunny morning it has now clouded over…still have a cold wind though MG….I was watching Unforgottennat 4.30am The Eagles have landed on the isle..hope G does not have to start chopping logs for the fire Have a good afternoon all
