Yep sitting in the bath, and then bleaching them. Anything to get them worn in.

I was telling someone the other day, I had got my jeans just as I wanted them, and was going to meet a boyfriend somewhere in London, and had to travel on the bus. I sat on the long seat next to the conductor and my knee came straight through the material. %3A-0 %3A-0

Now is is fashionable, but back then it was mortifying. %3A-D %3A-D

I had to remove one of the back pockets to patch them. %3A-D %3A-D
