He was so sweaky clean and polished as Dr Kildare - so unlike anyone I’d seen.

he was a big favourite of mine.
Did anyone buy the blouse that was the same style as the white "DR" top worn by Dr KIldare, it buttoned up down one side at the front'
I had one & loved it, it always looked nice.

Aw my Grandma & I watched the Thornbirds and she always said he was "quite a catch." 90 is a grand old age though.

I assume he must have done other things but those two seem to stick in people's minds. I suppose Dr Kildare was one of the first medical 'soaps' which is why it is remembered.

Richard Chamberlain has died aged 90. Loved him in The Thornbirds and Dr Kildare. One of my favourites from my youth.
