I stay logged in all the time.
Don't know if it makes a difference or not!

I never have any problem.

Joy, some robins do migrate but most are resident. We see them all year round. At the moment we have an adult pair with 2 young ones. They are fully fledged but not yet got their red breasts and we see them sitting on the fence with one of the adults.

Ann, I can’t see how but could your puzzle have anything to do with the log in system? I know lots of people stay logged in. I log in and out every day. I don’t see why it would make any difference - it’s just a thought.

Yes, robins stay all year. A pair nested in my garden last year.

I see robins all year round here JoyL. I don't think they leave. They will lose a bit of the bightness of their red breast so you might not notice them. They are still feeding young at this time I think too.

On here today before 8 am, AnninGlos.

I have a question - I have seen a robin hopping I to our back garden in the early mornings recently. I thought, as it was spring, they would have flown off to more northerly climes by now. Am I wrong?

Hi Vera thank you. 0715 I had four tries at getting on and still gor the error warning (I didn't try as early as usual as was up a bit later. However two minutes ago I got on at second try. so maybe it is just slower for some reason. It really has not been a problem more of a puzzle.

No trouble at all getting in using the PC and Firefox Ann, so it doesn't seem to be the browser that's the problem.

AnninGlos

thanks Vera. You will probably sleep in now!

SuffolkVera

SuffolkVera Report 16 May 2025 10:06

If I’m up early tomorrow I’ll try getting in on my PC where we usually use Firefox as the browser.

Gwyn, thank you, that is what I get in the early morning from about 0600 to 0730. on both Ipad and desk top. Yes I usually give up as well after a couple of tries.

Another check-in from me.- successful this time.

Using laptop.

I did try to log in at 6.35 but got the dreaded Error message twice, so gave up.

Other sites were fine.

AnninGlos Report 16 May 2025 07:48

Thank you both for trying. 0630 I couldn't get on nor at 0715 but I have just got on now. It is very strange and I have had no trouble getting on Face book, google email and the D Mail on line paper. :-)

No problem on my PC, using Microsoft Edge - not that I'm often using it so early.

Morning Ann.

Just trying this out to see if I could post.

Hopefully it goes through. :-)

Edit. Yes it came up ok, and this is on a PC

It is odd Ann. I’ve not had any problems at all at any time of day. Usually early morning I’m on my iPad. I don’t know if it’s any different on the PC.

I often have trouble getting on GR in the evenings from here ................ that's an 8 hour difference from the UK.

6 or 7 pm here would be 2 or 3 am in the UK .................... but I doubt you get up that early!! But it does seem to indicate that the problem is not early morning in the UK.

It does explain why I'm not often on GR!

I am always an early riser, Ann. Never got used to lying in even though I have been retired for years.

I only look at our local obits over breakfast - too many I know now!

I shall take a look at Genes over breakfast tomorrow and let you know the outcome.
