Same here Kath. When I was sorting my late partners many :-0 shirts I washed every one of them but checked with the local charity shop regarding ironing them - no need as they steam everything. Phew! |

I don't know how anyone can donate clothes that haven't been washed. I would be ashamed to hand them over. |

Some media are making a fuss about dirty clothes being donated to charity shops. This is nothing new. My mother managed an Oxfam shop over 50 years ago. Lots of dirty clothes, including, shall we say, used ladies knickers. |
