I have been researching my family tree for over 30 years and it is not very often I make mistakes. however this time I have made a monumental error in assuming that my William McEwan who was born in 1898 went on to marry. However I checked on Scotlands People today to discover that my William died on 7/4/1927 and that he was single!! Despite the fact that some of my relatives had numerous children I always try to find out if they married and had children.(It increases the number of people in my family tree }.Thanks for all your replies. |
