I'm aware that GR isn't popular for building trees but I want to make one.
How though?
I've added my root person but having no luck with adding the father.
I don't see a 'save' button so what to do? :-S

Sorry, I can’t help. I put a tree on here years ago and haven’t touched it since. I can’t remember what I did and I expect everything has changed since I did mine. Good luck with it.

Thanks Vera, same here - had my starter tree here years ago then switched to an offline programme.
It doesn't seem to be very user friendly now. A bit much when you're struggling to add the root persons dad! :-0
I thought it would be quick and easy LOL

The "save" button is at the bottom of the screen where you entered the father's details.

If you're not seeing it, reduce the font size so that more of the screen is visible.
(Press "control" and the minus sign , if on pc or laptop.)

Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

Or there is a save button at the very bottom of the 'slider' that comes out on the right.
