Evening :-D <3 <3

Hope everyone is ok. <3

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your eye Island <3

The ice pack stopped the skin from blistering, so covered it with a lint dressing and I got my shoe on. I dunno, what a daft bat <3 <3

No 1 Son likes Marks bits and bobs, so a tin of shortbread and Percy Pigs and a few other bits cost about £15 and the postage is £25 :-0 :-0 :-0

Not stopping, we have an early start in the morning.

Nighty Night, sleep well, keep warm <3 <3 <3

Evening Joy :-D and thank you :-D

It's just one eye with cataract. The other had lens swopped 7 yeas ago, which made no difference as surgery did not fully restore my vision. So I hope there will be improvement in my 'good' eye or I'm stuffed.

Afternoon everyone. :-D <3

Cold here but at least it has stayed dry.

Enjoyed the first of the Christmas lunches today - typical fayre - turkey followed by Xmas pud and white sauce then rounded off with coffee and mint choc. It was very tasty.

I am using all of the Christmas cards I had last year and have just about finished writing them out. it will be either hand deliveries or 2nd class stamps and luckily only two overseas ones as most people have decided that email greetings will be enough because of the cost of overseas postage.

Maddie, what Belle said - what are you like!?

Island, I hope your eyes improve following the cataract surgery. I know several people who have had their cataracts removed and all surgery has been successful.

I have foregone the usual gushing Xmas cards to son and daughter in favour of comic ones - my frivolity may well shock them even though my son usually favours sending comic cards for birthdays and Christmas.

Hunkering down for the night now - curtains and blinds closed and heating and telly on. :-)

Afternoon all :-) <3

Bright and dry here but cold.

Hope your feet feel better soon Maddie <3

Don't talk to me about stamps. I have sent 8 abroad and I send around 50 in this country (only second class) but then had to buy some more 1st class stamps to keep in the house for birthday cards etc. All in all it was the best part of £100

It's no wonder a lot of people are giving up sending Christmas cards :-0
