Damp here but at least it is no longer raining, I hope it stays dry as I have the second of my Xmas dinners to get to for lunchtime which means I shall be 'dressed up' and sparkly for voluntary duties this morning. :-D

I think the local sorting office are holding back Christmas cards. We had one on 1st December from my cousin, and a couple have been pushed through the door from neighbours, but apart from that nothing. I am trying to think who I have upset this year. :-D :-D :-D ;-)

Dark here today but at least the constant rain yesterday has stopped.

Maddie, I think you are right about the post office and Christmas cards. We only seem to see the postman a couple of times a week. We hadn't had any post at all last week and then Friday we got 16 envelopes through the post. 10 were Christmas cards. They were the first to arrive and we nearly always get one particular card from a friend in Cornwall on 1st. December :-S

Belle, hope you are soon feeling better. If you have got this new flu strain that is going round it seems to take anything up to 3 weeks to get over.

Well it suddenly seems to have got dark, after a pleasantly mild day.
I'm always pleased when we get to 21st and we can gradually notice less darkness.

Our post also comes in fits and starts.
We had just 2 cards today.
One was from a long ago college friend.
I had one from her yesterday too :-S

I've still got my 'walking route' cards to deliver locally, but I think ( hope) all the ones for posting have gone now.

I hope you enjoyed the dinner outing Joy and people appreciated your sparkles :-)
