When we had our roof done, they fitted a membrane under the tiles. Just as well as the minute they left, minus putting on the tiles, it rained! Luckily nothing came through as we would have had wet beds. :-0 :-0

Maddie the roof is over 60 year old lasted twice as long as it should have :-)

I think that is how they do the roofs now Maddie also I think it must help to stop the wind getting in too :-0 :-)

Gosh, that sounds quite major work Fly, but you need to do it if the main roof is the problem :-| :-|

That was the first time we had it done to be honest. It looked great with the new slates :-)

Still watching Traitors Belle. I can imagine H the barrister, showboating in court. :-D :-D

Von they will do above the dorma over the top to over the other dorma tomorrow to get it water tight :-) then worry about the rest :-0

I have been indoors all day.
The sun through the window was lovely, but I bet it was still cold out.

Will wrap up and get a bit of exercise tomorrow.

Yes, we had our roof done about eight years ago....first time since it was built in the early 1930s .....they put a membrane on then and it made such a difference :-D
