I do that too, Gwyn, and sometimes I freeze milk too.

He is very ill-informed, Gwyn. Either that or he creates his own virtual reality, known as cloud cuckoo land.

It must be very upsetting for the families of our troops (450+) killed in that war.

Wise move ;-)

It's not so nice as fresh, but I always keep by a carton or two of long-life milk in the winter months, in case we can't get out.

I have to go out to a meeting this afternoon so I shall pop into the local shops for a handful of things so I can stock up a bit more before the snow arrives here next week (apparently). :-(

Just been reading back on yesterday's thread...

Sounds like Jem's neighbourhood cat is like Six Dinner Sid.
He featured in a children's picture book and went from house to house, where everyone fed him thinking he was hungry :-0 :-)

The 'blonde one's' comments about our service men and women not being on the frontline will have upset a lot of people locally, especially the family of a 19 years old soldier killed in Afghanistan :-(

Weather is grey and a bit damp, but we are forecast a deluge and very strong winds off The Channel, so I won't be going out.
