Hello i am liza chapman and im trying to find if there are any Chapmans out there related to HARRISON CHAPMAN born 1837, his dad ,John (b abt 1793) had 2 brothers , one of them being Samuel Palmer Chapman, one of his sons became mayor of Swansea in 1902, Samuel and his family moved to Swansea in abt 1860 and opened and run a sucsessfull photographic studio . Does this ring any bells.....ding dong ? any info on any Chapmans related to thses guys would be great, Harrsion is my G G Grandad, his son was Joseph ( my G Grandad) anyone know anything about him? Joseph married Matlida Toynton in 1902 and had my grandad Cyril in 1903.... The Chapmans i have found all come from Lincolnshire ( moslty Waddington) except for Joseph and Matilda they moved to Salford after they was married ( Matilda Toynton is from East Barkwith lincs), they went on to have 3 sons, one being Cyril my grandad who married Gladys Hamilton in 1928. Anything on, CHAPMAN, TOYNTON OR HAMILTON, would be wonderfull. Kind regards and best wishes Liza Chapman |
