yea. my granddad's first wife died in 1906 leaving him with 4 young girls under 5. he placed them with his siblings. remaried and moved to london. while he kept contact, for some reason, none of the rest of the family knew anything about this til later on. i've met my dad's half-sister's grandson (he moved so much like my brother it was spookey!) and my dad and i are off to blackpool next week to meet his cousin for the first time (dad's 90, his cousin's 92!) i've also met my 3rd cousin from this line and it was like meeting an old friend! i love it
