And a Happy Monday to you, i hope all are well... Now , dont ask me about yesterday! lol . Yes, we did go to the beach.. eventually.. after spending two hours at the side of the road after having a blow out in the Conwy Tunnel, trying to talk to an Irish insurance company thats closed on Sundays to get our breakdown service number, only to find they contract out, so its pay up front first claim back later.. but could we pronounce where we were.. could we heck, we picked the longest most Welsh most awkward double ff'ed double dd'ed Village in Wales.. enter a lovley Traffic policeman who took over and talked in Beautifull ( well it was to me by that point) Welsh over the phone to the local garage.. sorted... and a snippet at £120 for a tyre change!! ( pass the smelling salts)... Oh , yes we did have a spare tyre before anyone asks... but it was a steel wheel, and we had alloys on the car.. so the bolts were too long for the wheel.. and went straight onto the brake discs ... well... i dont need to say anymore really...lol.. We did get to the beach.. for about 30 mins... ran the dog, picked some shells.. had a coffee.. then listened to Hubby moan and whinge all the way home... and a good day was had by all.... nearly! :)

Good morning Em....and everyone. Sorry to hear of your eventful day. Let's hope there are better sunny days ahead. Weather was really weird here yesterday. We had a terrific thunderstorm around 7.30am followed by a 2 hour power cut after which the sun shone brightly and it was very hot until another short thunderstorm as darkness fell. Still really 'sticky' here this morning. Gwyn
