They can't stand the competition ! My 17 year old was going out on friday and wanted something new to wear. I suggested she borrow my new top. One of those with the geometric designs. I don't want to look 40 she said indignantly; then went out and bought one the same but a different colour ! ........Maybe only 40 year olds wear lime green ! Cart on I say ! Joan as old as you feel x x x |

Well by your criteria I have grown old (71) mostly gracefully. I have never dyed my hair. I am a silver top. I have never worn jeans (could never find any that were made for a hippy woman.) I havent been much into pop music. BUT I do sing loudly in a crowd, since I sing in a choir. Although it is only loudly when it is supposed to be, if we are supposed to sing ppp then I sing ppp. Re pop music, I have enjoyed singing some Elvis pieces in our concerts, and last month I enjoyed singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. So I am not a complete square. Far from it in shape! Very round and curvy! |

My mum used to dress like someone much, much older when she was only 29. I was so embarrassed (I was 9), as she never cared what she looked like and never did her hair or nails...not saying people have to, but in every way, she let herself go. I want to make sure, now Im 31, that I dont go the same way. |
