I'll admit to having done that with some chicken stock I made from scratch..... poured the saucefan full of stuuf into the drainer and then remembered it was the liquid i wanted not the chicken scraps! LOL!! xx |

Oh Linda.... haaaa. I read a letter in a mag once from a girl who was giving a dinner for her new MIL. She was doing a recipe for clear soup... and she did everything correctly....then did what you did. strained it into the sink!! POOR girl! Deanna X |

Oh dear!!! I have a habit when I am cracking eggs - and I have done this so many times - that I place the egg shell in the bowl and throw the eggs straight into the sink. Last time I did it I cursed myself then did exactly the same thing again- doh! Lorrainex |

lol linda last time we went camping and one thing i like is making a curry when we are camping how ever i adde d bisto gravey granuales and couldnt understand why i couldnt smell me lovely curry , well it thickend it a bit so all was not lost , enjoy your juiceless chilli xx lol. |
