I speak 'Driving' but, for some strange reason I lose the ability to speak it outside my car. Grammar and accent excellent!

I wish I did. We are so near France and although I can understand some of the written word, conversation is too fast for me. OH is a Russian speaker to translator level and reasonable at German. Gwyn

I lived in Holland for about 4 years, 25 years ago. Still not to bad with Dutch language. Not as hard as people think! Dreeks........

Our Em We have some teach yourself Welsh tapes here somewhere. OH used to listen to them. I remember a beginners in Welsh TV programme, 'Croeso Christine' which my friends and I tried many years ago, when we were in college in Cardiff...I still have the book. ..... as you say, not easy. Gwyn

I can understand french but do find it differcult to speak it, I get by though, as friends seem to understand what I am talking about :))) Will make more of an effort in class :))) x Jill
