What's plan B? Sit at the computer all day??? It's dull here and if it copies yesterday then it'll rain later.

It's raining steadily here in Coventry so I don't think I'll be going round the open gardens this morning and to a cricket match this afternoon! Guess it'll have to be Plan B... Sheila

Yes Julie, I could well be on the computer all day. V quiet here. Mr Medlock has gone walking in the Cotswolds and No 1 daughter worked until 0200 so is still in bed. Even the cats are asleep so not even anyone to talk to. Time to pursue another line of my dysfunctional family! Sheila

Even though it is a bank holiday I am pleased to say that we have a steady downpour of lovely soft rain. The gardens so badly needed it as it is ages since it rained here. It is also quite warm. Ann Glos

I think I'm cracking up - I've been doing so much work for uni (degree show starts going up next Monday) that somehow the fact that today was a bank holiday slipped past my radar. I just went out looking for a branch of Cartridge World near here, couldn't find it, thought I'd go to the IT shop at uni and then only when walking back did I realise they wouldn't be open. Art degrees can be seriously bad for your sanity. I had a whole list of things to do today and can't do any because nowhere's open.

Hi Rebekah Well at least it brightened up a bit after lunch so we've been to Kingsbury Water Park. Me and Mr Medlock strolling along holding hands... and a nice cup of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle cake! Back to Fraggle Rock tomorrow. Sheila

Steady rain most of today in Norwich but brightening up now everything is over, I did want to go to another bluebell walk and plant sale today but didn't happen. Did a few jobs outside in between rain drops.
