Peter you are right about Blair (says me a lifelong Labour supporter) The problem is that the general electorate are thick and malleable. You can't vote Labour, Conservative or Liberal and change anything. The only desire of current politicians is to achieve power for it's own sake and the rewards that it brings. The Clement Attlee's and Aneurin Bevan's will not be found amongst this rabble but the general voter hasn't got the guts to vote for anything different. Bob

Yes I agree, we should pull out now and leave them to it. Sadly it won't happen whilst Tony Bliar (sp) remains in power. Only again today on the radio I heard him saying that he was about to secure his future in the history books and had no regrets about invading Iraq. Sorry, but party politics aside, this man is evil, he pretends not to know about the Iranian captives selling their stories, but does nothing to protect our brave soldiers who are giving their all. He and his pathetic government have not provided one penny for those who have suffered in previous conflicts, what about the last Gulf War syndrome suffered by so many soldiers who were told to go away and pull their socks up? It does make you want to spit.

Yes Bob it's time they came home .....but I've been saying that about Ireland as well for the last 20+ years. and still our boys go in there ...All we can do is hope and pray for their safety each day ....and pray for each one lost. Add a prayer for each one who will stay there because they have lost a comrade ..... Pray for the mothers and wives of these lads (and lasses) and hope they come home safe. Like the Falklands and Argentina we and possibly they can't understand but its their job, what they chose to do .......and all we can do back home is pray for them and cry for the lost and rejoice with those who return. But yes I would like them home Jac

Going to get my head bitten off here...I wish i could wave a wand and bring them all home and the ones that were killed in the line of duty. As you know my son fought out there. but in my opinion (we) shouldn't have gone in. and now we just can't leave them. I do want our forces out of there and will support them always .Its just not possible .

Dont you think its time they all came home. In todays paper three roadside bombers were caught and one was an Iraqui Policeman and another was a member of the Elite Guard. So what chance do our boys have out there.
