do we as adults think we can do the same things as our kids. Boys have their scooters outside so being the big kid i am - i had a little go - ouch!!!!!! left elbow is now skinless and hurts like hell. needless to say the kids and oh have very little sympathy for me. lol

not much fun at the mo ann - elbow is stinging a wee bit and making it very difficult to type - knew i should have just stayed on here instead of going outside lol

A few of Christmases ago, when everybody had to have one, my grandchildren got one of those little silver scooters each. My mad mother-in-law, then aged 87, begged to have a go on them. I have a video of her riding up and down the garden path dressed in her fur coat and posh frock - well it was Christmas! If she isn't too old, then I'm sure you're not Lorraine :o) Sue xx

just had to have an ice pack on it - as now oh is a bit worried as its swollen a little - and before anyone mentions it no - im not going up to a + e to have it checked out lol

a friend of mine decided that she would have a go on a skateboard. she put ne foot on ready to give a push off and the thing shot away from underneath her leaving her sprawled on the floor with a broken ankle! i wish that i could do it, i am afraid to even try! tina x hope your arm gets better soon

woke up very sore thanks liz - shoulder is more painful than elbow if im honest. and gloria - what would i expect from such a good friend lol - but no camcorder unfortunately :~)))))))
