That people in my tree - have a tree symbol in their names - and when the mosue hovers over the tree - tells how many other trees they appear in ,,, how long has this been on? Liz

Sometimes the name has a little document next to it too - shows how many times the name is listed on the various census.

And has anyone noticed there are no DEATH dates on our ancestors until you click on their name. Wish GR would go back to the old tree system. Suexxxxx

I agree with Sue - these changes keep on doing my tiny little brain in - bring the old system back. Liz

Just had a look my husband has 14 entries for his name and 12 of them although they are his name and year of birth are the ones I have already discarded as not being matches Bren

Well I have just had a look & low & behold my names have a match with someone who should have taken my tree off his. I have just been in touch & he says he has loaded wrong file into Genes. Which means he still has my tree somewhere. He is related to my husband about 5 generations back. Nothing to do with me & my family. So I am thankful for you pointing it out. Hilary, x

Genes now shows that a rellie whom I have just looked at (shown by her maiden name) and who died in 1891 as a married lady in available in the 1901 Census! Presumably this will happen to all females on all trees - how silly is this? Also some deaths where I have correct dates are shown under their name on the tree as a circa date.

My g.uncle wasn't born until 1894 but according to the new tree, there is a match in the 1891 census!. Back to the drawing board GR. Liz
