has anyone ever had allergy testing done?

Karen It doesn't hurt ,I had it done but i also used to carry out the testing in our ENT clinic---just allow half an hour for the test ---it's no problem,if you do itch they should put on some antihistamine cream. |

Debs, two and half years is terrible................my allergy started about 2mths ago.......i'm on my 3rd lot of tablets and then my GP said he'd refer me for allergy testing......i've had to wait about a mth for the appointment. will let you all know how i get on, Karen |

my daughter going to dermo place in 3 weeks, she has very bad skin due to spots, her face, back shoulders are covered, suffered tablets for 2 and half years and now they are referring her, just wished they had done it long time ago. |

Karen My cousin has had it done. she had it on her back. All i can remember was she couldn't get her back wet. |

I've had it done on my arm too. The doctor drew a grid then did little pinpricks in each square, added liquid and waited for a reaction. |

Holds hand up I have ... I had them done all over my back. they used what I thought was giving me the problem and some of there own , I had a bout 30 in all.. It was kept on for 5 days I could not shower or get them wet.. In the end one of main things that was causing it was the cream they had given me to stop the inching... |

I have Karen I had pin pricks on my arm and then they put drops of liquid of the most common things like grass ,dog,cats etc then waited a while to see the reaction.I have also seen people have it done on the back. Sue x |
