It's a bit simple but ...

Waking up again today With an aching in my heart Another day without you Mum Another day we’re apart. I swing my legs and get out of the bed Put my slippers on Reach for my dressing gown Another day has just begun My thoughts are always with you, Mum Even going down the stairs I go to let the dogs out The world is unawares I turn to put the kettle on Mum you are on my mind I see your face, your beautiful smile You were always so loving and kind. So many things are on my mind I don’t know which way to turn I really need to ask you Mum What is it you’d have done? I miss our talks, I miss your words You always kept things in their place I miss your smile, your bright eyes I miss your beautiful face So this is my world now mum Your thoughts I try to lend You are my best friend, Mum And I’ll miss you till the end. One day I know we’ll be together I know you will come for me I look forward to taking your hand Together again once more for Eternity. I love you Mum Gaynor xxx

Oh Gaynor they are such powerful words, beautiful and from the heart. l have tears rolling down my face. l did'nt meet your mum, we exchanged a number of emails and chats on the Neighbours thread, so l did'nt really know her - but l do know she would'nt want you to be unhappy - slowly and gently try to understand that someone else needs her now, she is very special and will always be with you. Talk to her and have a laugh with her and gradually you'll be able to throw all that love into your family, and come to terms with what has happened - hope you understand what l'm saying.
