i think the problem was that when you watch something in the correct order it starts off slow then builds up to a dramatic ending this programme did it the other way round so the slow part was at the end bit of an anti climax i thought sue c x |

I recognised the little girl who played Sonia and Martin Fowler's daughter in Eastenders.......but didn't at first realise that the other 5 year old blonde little girl was actually Tigerlily Hutchinson......the daughter of Paula Yates, who is now being brought up by Bob Geldof..... |

I agree Bob, watching in reverse, with a day between each programme, and one and a half hours an episode, took you away from the story.... I did watch the behind the scenes making of this programme on ITV3, and could see more into it, with the explanations.... What disappointed me though, was the unanswered questions.....such as who were the little girls, how did they get them and them not being missed.......the priest.....they could have gone a bit more into why he killed the children, and why the mystery about him.... I think it left more unanswered......it could have been made in the right timeline and condensed and still been good.... I found the same problem with Star Wars.....timelines all over the place.... |

yes I struggled to watch all 3.I did record them and watch them next day. I wish I had kept them all and watched them in reverse order as then it may have made more sense to me.lol |

This 3 parter was adapted from the Roth Trilogy by Andrew Taylor...Four Last Things, Judgement of Strangers and The Office of the Dead. I agree the acting was superb...but again, as many adaptations, it did'nt live up to the books which I found a great read along with his other books. Linda |

I did watch it but had them laughing at work today because for some reason my brain seemed to switch off for the last 15 minutes and suddenly the titles were rolling. So 4 hours and fifteen minutes of watching were a waste of time.....I still don't know what? why? or where? Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a channel where you could watch a shortened version that took perhaps an hour...all the details but no frills... |

I thought the same as you after the first 2, so started off trying to follow it last night and fell asleep after half an hour only to wake up couple of minutes before the end! Very disappointing, could have been condensed into 2 episodes. |

Evening All No, this is'nt Dixon of Dock Green. I would just like to know if anyone saw Fallen Angel over the last three evening's and what you thought of it. I was looking forward to it but by the end of the drama I was dissapointed. I thought the first episode was good and looked forward to the second episode, then I started to lose interest in the second episode and struggled to keep up with the story but as I had watched two episode's watched the third and by the end I wish I had not bothered watching it at all. It lasted a total of four and a half hours and I thought it was all talk and very little action, not edge of the seat drama. Having said all of this I must say I could not fault the acting and Emilia Fox was excellent as Angel. Perhaps I am being to critical and that there are quit a few of you that thought it was great.
