Oh Lew Lew my grandson would be soooooo oh ont know he's seven and has adopted a Penguin at the zoo last he went to visit HIS Penguin,when he got there he asked the keeper which one was his, The whole lot said the keeper ,, and the took him inside the pen and let him feed them he was so happy

morning all That must have been a great sight at the antactic. I went last year to see the seal colony where they come ashore to give birth. I was absolutely gobsmacked by what I saw. Have seen seal in sanctuarys before but thats nothing like the wild.

morning everyone hope you are all well this bright and slightly breezy morn. not keen on penguins after one took a chunk out of my thumb when i was little. at london zoo my dad stroked an emperor one which was very docile so i copied with one my own height, a king, but it didnt like it and bit me! tina x

Well, I'm pleased to say that the penguins in the Antarctic behaved themselves and didn't bite me! There's so many different types Emperor, King, Royal, Adelie and Gentoo, just to name a few. It's an amazing place and I feel very lucky to have been able to go there.
