What a creep, sad and lonely he might be, doesn't mean he has to lie! Hope your mum manages to get rid of him soon. Liz |

You're right, OC. Lou's Mum is very lucky to have her. I have just had a lovely chat with Lou on the phone...:-) |

David is right, if you are confident in yourself, there is no need to lie.......I think you would have to have a good memory too.... |

This sounds remarkably like my ex...... Your mum is lucky to have you looking out for her, and believe me you will laugh about it one day. As for getting rid of him - can't your mum tell him she is going bankrupt, that'll see the back of him. OC |

Sorry your Mum had this bad experience Lou. However, I always believe that liars get caught out in the end and he will end up very sad and very lonely. Mandy :) |

Last thing she needed was a nutter like him!!! I'm really annoyed, i encoraged her to go out with him in the first place and said it would do her good... *TuT*... Think she's going to be put off trusting men for a very long time.... LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Ps. Roker lane...Just remembered, there was a cottage for sale on there a while back, we went to look at it for mum, bit out in the sticks, lol!!!! There was a farm there though!! |

He told us of how he 'often' talks fluent french to a local girl who works in an establishment in Leeds, and name dropped her boyfriend, a well off managing director...He also name dropped a restaurant owner and told us how he was great friends with them all........ He offered to send us free tickets and we gave him mums work address to send them to....The very next day he rung her at work and asked her out... Mum was flattered and went out for a few drinks.....He has rung her since, every day up to 8 times, if she doesn't answer her mobile he is ringing her directly in work!!!! She was a bit worried as she didn't want to hurt his feelings, but after comming out of a violent 22 year marriage she didn't really want a man in her life.... NOW...... Being very protective of my mum i tried to look him up on ansestry but found he didn't exist!!! Then, on 192.com found he wasnt there either....so i rang on of my friends (actually, a very good friend of mine, lol) The french girl!!! She had never heard of him and could only remember one old guy who had tried to speak french to her and could only manage two words!!! I also spoke to her boyfriend (my Hubby's mate, lmao) and he hadn't heard of him either!!!!!! So, all that was left was to ring the restaurant owner (also a friend of hubby's, pmsl) Who knows of the guy and said he's a bit of a leach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mum now has the lovely task of getting shut of him!!!! Just what she needs!!! NOT!!!! I'm really mad, fancy telling lies like that !!! If i hadn't known the people personally he could have got away with it!!! LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXX |

Why do people go through their lives telling lies??? Do they honestly think they will get away with it???? I am actually quite angry: As some may know my Mum finally chucked her husband out at Christmas, she is going from strength to strength and is more confident than i've seen her in years.. The other day she was trying to print some photos off in a shop and a polite guy came over to help.. We all got talking and he told us he'd just come back from France where he has a villa, to care for his elderly mother. He said he was opening a new restaurant in Pudsey and made himself sound ultra rich! He offered us free tickets to his opening night and did a few name drops.....Cont: |
