Adoption Appointment went Ok, folks!!!!!

Well to begin with, she was actually 10 minutes EARLY!!!! It was just a case of chatting and filling in a couple of forms, I had to draw a family tree to show her where everybody fitted in!!! She took my email address, so I can help other people who are in a similar situation to me, and offer them help and advise them where to look and where to go, but I do that online anyway!!! There have been people waiting longer than me, but because she said I found all of the information myself, it wasn't fair to keep me waiting. She said she will write the letter to my Brother's Authorities today, and I guess it will be to~ing and fro~ing between the two authorities for a while. I am not going to build my hopes up for contact....if he doesn't want contact, then at least I can say I tried. Keep you all updated on this journey of a lifetime!!!! Stella X |

Thanks for all of your support Peeps!!!! I don't get much from support at all from family, except my Aunt, but she lives about 100 miles away. I found it really funny The Adoption Worker asking me for 'pointers' for searching!!! She asked me for my email address so people can contact me, who are going through the same as me. It is an experience that you can share though, I remember me going round and round in circles for about 11 months and some people on here and missing-you.net have helped me immensley and I am only too happy to be helping other people, even if it is just pointing them in the right direction of what they should be doing and where they should go to find information, which I have been doing online for a while....now I've found my Brother, all of my energy has to be put into something good.
