I'm picking Mum up from the airport at teatime. She's spent the last month in Sri Lanka where it has been far too hot to go out between 10am and 4pm. I texted her and asked if she wanted me to bring a coat and some socks to the airport. She said not to bother as she had a little cardie she could slip on! LOL. Think she's in for a bit of a shock! Yep definitely going to ignore her on this occasion! lol She flies from Sri Lanka to Amsterdam and then from there to Humberside so hopefully there won't be any snow en route |

Hi Peeps! It's started snowing here in the last half hour but not much at the moment. Have just asked Joyce Van der Hooven on her thread if she's anywhere near Schiphol airport. And my sister lives not far from Humberside airport so I've got her to keep me updated with the weather over there! LOL |

Hi Jeanette, well I think it's on it's way up to you !! Been snowing here since about 4.30 am. Stanstead and Luton have been closed, so if you get it, Humberside may have to shut too. Best you don't set out without checking. If they can't get her home, hopefully they will put her up in a hotel in Amsterdam overnight. Maz. XX |
