Our conversation started as she was born in Slough near where I live and therefore I knew the area and she explained the whole story!! Well as you know for us finding a Birth reference is easy when you know the date, name and area so off I went!! Now my next task is to see if I can find her mother's birth cert as requested! xx

I met a nurse at Grandma's hospital and we got chatting about the fact that she was 60, adopted and had never seen her original birth certificate..... she knew her dob and pre-adoption name, so I took all the details and ordered it for her..... I called her this morning to say I had it in my hands and it was on its way to her and she cried!!! She was so so grateful!! Haven't been able to stop smiling since!
