My player has suddenly decided to give me sound but no picture - anyone know why ??? I've checked all the scart leads and they are fine altho I figured with sound coming thru they must be............. can't check on the upstairs player cos that seems to have died grrrrrrrrr - what is it with me and these machines ??????? And don't anyone mention King Kong after last years fiasco LOL - Helppppppppppp |

Dawn .............. tell me about it !!!!!!! Last year went thru 3 DVD/Video recorder combi's - hence my comment re King Kong - got the dvd stuck in a machine twice. And now these two have gone up the chute - am not a happy bunny lol |

I had the same problem recently and my scart lead was not connected properly. On a scart lead the pins at one end are for the sound and the other end are for the picture. I had no picture and my scart lead had come out slightly at one end. When i pushed it back in the picture came back on. If it isn't something simple like this and it's out of guarantee you will have to get a new one. My local Asda were selling them for £9 each. Hope this helps, Paul. |

Paul I have double and tripple checked the scart lead and still nothing. It's only 6 months old so if I get no joy tonight it will be going back for replacement lol |
