NONE! Hubby does the ironing in my house too! His office brought in a 'smart casual' dress code (which he doesn't like) a year or so back, so very few 'proper' shirts for him and 5 a week for son. Mandy :) |

I always do daughter school shirts, as she only has 5. But with the three boys, they have enough for 3 weeks. So I tend to build them up and boil wash them and when it gets desperate I start ironing. Think last time I did their shirts including daughters, I did approx 45, not including a couple of hubbys. Took me most of day as I HATE ironing with a vengance!!!!!!!! |

NONE!! I finally decided that they could do their own! It's hardly rocket science and I was fed up of being taken for granted. And, if they are slow - so what? They're the ones that need the practice, not me! |

Hi Elaine, It does get better. LOL I used to do 25 white school shirts a week. It was one of the most horrid job of the week, surpassed only by cooking the dinner. I have now told them all they are big enough to do their own...three of the five have left school, so school shirts are now work shirts. 20 odd years of it!!! I'm now free.... Tina x |
