My neice had a baby three years ago making her our 5th generation living. They got a lovely photo done, the baby, my niece, her dad(my brother), her grandad(my dad) and the great grandmother(my nan). Looks wonderful, my kids better be quick or the most I'll have will be four. Fiona. x

Just 4-and that's most probably due to the mediteranean diet/lifestyle of hubbys' parents!

I consider myself lucky that most of my family were young parents, if nan hadn't had dad so young and so on I wouldn't have had as many years knowing her, or my children knowing her. I even had the great pleasure of knowing my great grandparents, I was 10 and 12 when they died so remember them quite. Just wished I'd listened to them more. Fiona. x

4 on husband's side - his 90 year old Mum and her eldest G grandchild is almost 18, so maybe there will be 5 generations in the future! 4 on my side if I can count my Aunt (Dad's sister), sadly Mum & Dad have both been dead for many years. I have a photo taken when I was about 15 months old with me, my Mum, my Nan and my Great Grandma. I also have a photo taken in 1912 of husband's Uncle as a baby, his Great Uncle, his Great Grandfather and his G G Grandfather. Husband's Grandfather was abroad in the Army at the time of the photo. Sue xx

At a wedding last Saturday I met 2 gt gt nieces and a gt gt nephew. Unfortunately their gt grandmother, my sister, is dead. Still one of dads cousins alive so if you dont want in a direct line that is 5. Personally there is just myself, 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
