i would like to know if anybody can help me i have found out when my grandmother died her name was muriel constance lumsden she died as far as we know giving birth to a second child it says in the census that she died in manchester north aged 27 vol 8d page 524 can anyone tell me how to apply for a copy of the death certificate for her daughter my mum and if so would it have on it cause of death any help would be great thanks dawn |

Hi Dawn, Using the reference number that you have above plus the year and quarter, you can order the death cert from www.gro.gov.uk and it will cost £7. Yes, it will tell you the cause of death. Sam x |
