I saw your post on Colins thread Jackie but didn't give your age a second thought. I know a few around here that have grandchildren well before they are 40. Only the other week a friend of my nieces had a baby with her I said ah!! you had another baby no she said it is my Granddaughter. The only thing that bothered me was it made me feel very old lol. When I think she used to come round here from school. She laughed. You enjoy your lovely family. Germaine x |

Hi Jackie my friend hope you are ok. You know what the old saying says, Words can never hurt, and that's true if you don't let them. You carry on enjoying life love and try and forget those people who criticise. They probably don't understand anything about you anyway. Love ya babe Lots of huggles from an owd Wigginer. Jeff xxxx |

I didn't see your extra comment jackie so didn't take any notice of your age etc. I married at 20 and had my first at 21, now it is lovely because there only seems a very small gap between my daughter and I, I know it is 20 years but her husband is 10 years older than her so the gap contracts and we all get on fine. you should not feel you have to make excuses, just be proud of your family. Jackie, I married at 18 and had my son at 19. People usually say I look too young to have a 21 year old, I usually say 'well I am only 36'. Not sure why but it usually kills that conversation;))lol I loved being a young mum and I'm still young enough to enjoy any grandchildren they might give me (fingers crossed). Fiona.x |

Thanks Helen and Janet, I am so proud of my family but have been really hurt by peoples comments in the past thats why I put the extra comment on. I have deleted the extra comment now as I can see I don't need to explain or defend myself about this on here. Jackiexx |

Hi Jackie I read the thread about everyone but never noticed about your age etc. why should I? I don't judge anyone who I don't know. Along the line there is always someone ready to cast a stone, pick it up and throw it back is what I say. Love and best wishes to you and your family Janetx |
