I think its a great shame that Corrie feels it has to sex itself up to attract viewers. What Corrie does best is humour - Blanche deserves an Oscar, and why did they kill off Fred?! The current storyline about Tracey is farfetched enough already, so young David better watch that Tracey doesnt bang HIM over the head too, and drop him in the canal. OC

I agree they shouldn't put all this racy stuff on before the 9pm watershed, but on the other hand look at the way most of the presenters and celebs dress and behave on the kids shows now, most of them are hardly wearing anything. Gawd I sound old and im only 35 lol Jackiexx

The last time I saw Corrie, Mavis and Rita were in the shop(?) talking about what to have for tea, Mavis saying 'I don't really know....' how times change, lol!

What has happened to the 9 pm watershed? The story lines in the 7-8pm soaps are getting more & more adult only viewing!!!

i dont mind what they show, it just concerns me what time they show it at. i have a 10 year old daughter and its nice to snuggle down to some prebedtime telly after homeworks and baths. corrie used to be good for that, horlicks TV my dad calls it. not any more, dont get me wrong, im no prude and i would watch it, just not at that time of night. so thats eastenders, hollyoaks, corrie out now. better become an emmerdale fan until that goes the same way! paul...

I agree with you Paul---its not good for children to watch any more. I much prefer the comical bits ie--Rita and Norris. Lol C xxx

Well Don't know how that one will go down thing is if the sexes were the other way round it wouldn't sound so bad. Wouldn't put anything past that David Platt though. That kid is unbelivable. Germaine x

I did read about this story line and I'm not sure as to how it will go down with the viewers? I love Corrie but I do think some of the story lines now are getting a bit too 'far fetched'. Maybe if David wasn't so young then maybe it might work but------ C xxxx

TV LAND SEX SCANDAL FOR TERMINATOR TRACY 19 January 2007 SHE might be facing life behind bars for bumping off Charlie Stubbs, but Corrie's Tracy Barlow isn't letting that cramp her style. Released on bail on January 29, she is soon up to her old tricks. We can exclusively reveal that in the run up to her murder trial two Street residents hop into her bed - in sexy scenes that are bound to shock. First, Terminator Tracy (played by Kate Ford) rekindles her romance with Steve McDonald. But it's the second man in her life that has Corrie bosses braced for an almighty backlash - David Platt. In a controversial storyline, the evil 16-year-old blackmails Tracy, who is twice his age, into sleeping with him. David (Jack P Shepherd) claims he saw Tracy murdering Charlie. Realising that Poison Platt is lying, she thinks she can use him and starts grooming him to be a defence witness. She gives him cash and CDs but then he starts demanding sexual favours. By the end of February, Tracy is forced to kiss David. And then he demands sex in return for testifying for her in court. Our Corrie spy reveals: 'Tracy say she will only deliver the goods after he has kept his side of the bargain.' But David won't be fobbed off and threatens to tell police the truth. In one particularly shocking scene - to be shown before the 9pm watershed - Tracy leads him down a dark, litter-strewn back alley and starts unbuttoning her clothes, telling him, 'Come on then. I'm waiting. This is what you want so let's get it over and done with.' Various older cast members have voiced concerns over the lurid scripts, but Corrie chiefs believe these 'dynamite scenes' will win massive ratings. One insider admits, 'Some of the scenes are very suggestive but some people believe the sex scenes will anger a section of viewers.' Better keep those smelling salts handy...

Hi, Has anyone read about the latest plot about Tracy Barlow? I've just read about it on the online Mirror newspaper, in the article of TV Land. http://www(.)mirror(.)co.uk/tvandfilm/tvland/ I couldnt believe what I was reading! The plots get more crazier as time goes on. Definitely unbelievable and below the belt. I'll cut and paste the article so you can see it below.
