A Housing NZ agent was surprised to be greeted by a weak tail wag when he opened a closed door on a locked house he was inspecting a week after the tenant had moved out. The dog nicknamed Job (after the character from the bible) was in such a state that initially the SPCA Vet was not able to determine his bred. The boxer cross has now made an almost complete recovery with his foster mum. |

It really annoys me when this sort of thing happens when you get a dog or any other pet it should be for their life. I know sometimes people have no choice but that is what rescue centres are for . they will help. Glad this one has a happy ending. Germaine x |

Two of our cats were left in houses after their owners had moved out. Skinny, frightened, sick. I hope to God those people get their just desserts; I know they will. :-( |
