My son is doing a BTEC National Certificate in Sport. He is having trouble with this question, can anyone help? The short term and long term effects of the respiratory system aerobically and anaerobically. I haven't a clue. Has anyone any ideas? Sue

i think aerobic is where you can continue exercising at a moderate pace ie jogging for a long time.anerobicis like when you exercise very hard ,you go into oxegyn debt,thats where you cant produce enuoghe oxy in blood stream to feed your muscles,then you just slow down.somebody correct me if i am wrong please.kev
