Regret not asking my Dad about my half-sisters and what happened to them after 1943. I have hit a brickwall withe the eldest hal-sister but know a little about my youngest half-sister. Suexxxx

I suppose the one regret that we all have is not asking about our ancestors when we were young. Jeff x

June I regret breaking my gtgt grandmothers watch. My gtgt Aunt gave it to me when i was about ten and the same day i caught it on a dresser at her house and smashed the face. I didnt tell anyone that she had given it to me (as i was the oldest grandchild) and hid it when i got home. I still have no idea where i put it to this day. Now i know so much about my ancestors i would absolutely give anything to be able to have it now.

No Regrets by Robbie Williams. Tell me a story where we all change And we'd live our lives together And not estranged I didn't lose my mind, it was mine to give away Couldn't stay to watch me cry You didn't have the time So I softly slip away.. No regrets, they don't work No regrets now, they only hurt In reality there are always things we regret. It's whether or not we learn from those mistakes that really matter.

I regret not starting my family research sooner so my mum could have had more years getting to know her mother that she had thought had died when she was four. My mum now 67 got to meet her last year but unfortunately her mother died in November, on a brighter note though my mum has 3 sisters and a brother that she is now getting to know and I'm sure they'll have many years to do it in:))) Fiona. x
