I'm into my second year of learning Spanish and of course it is getting more tricky. However, I don't have a problem learning or understanding it, but I do have a big problem trying to remember it! Does anyone have any good tips on how to memorise things so that they stay there! lol. Jeanette x |

Wendy......you're so right about English not translating directly into Spanish. Somebdy once told me that Spanish was easier than French. Wish I could remember who it was so I could give them a slap! LOL. I have made a pact with myself to do a bit every day Roxanne....you should see my desk and computer. It's like an explosion in a post-it factory! LOL Hopefully then I should improve if I keep up the practice |

Jeanette, the best way to learn the language would be to live in Spain, how does that grab you? My daughter has a uni degree in Spanish and spent 9 months in Madrid as part of her course. She came back fluent in Spanish! |

It was a case of being thrown in at the deep end! They had to learn the language to survive on their own. She did love the Madrid area and keeps going back there whenever she can afford it. |
