My Mum wants to get a puppy and she LOVES Buster. Any idea? It's one like him or a Scottish Highland Terrier. Suzy

Oooh I know this because someone told me when I was looking to get a dog! He's a cross between a Bichon Frise and a Lassa Apso. We have got two Bichons and I would highly recommend them. They are really friendly and happy, minimal health problems, long lifespan, intelligent, and the don't moult so brilliant for anyone with asthma or allergies. Mandy:) Oh, just seen Lyndy's reply, she's probably right lol! Lassa Apsos and Shit Zsus are similar though:)

Suzy We registered with the Kennel Club website and got ours from one of their recommended breeders. Bichons are quite hard to get hold of now, mainly for the reasons I stated before, they are such good pets. We had one and Mum had another but we had Mum's when she became ill (Mum, not the dog!). They were £500 each but worth every penny, they are real little darlings. If there's one of them in the kitchen and I offer him a piece of dry toast, he will trot off and get his brother lol! They will also give us a kiss (on the nose, not the mouth!) if we ask! Mandy :)

LOL Mandy... they sound delightful. My brothers and I want to get our Mum a dog, probably next year when she moves from her flat to a bungalow. The Bichon sounds just right. Will start saving now. Thanks for your reply. Suzy
